Aprilli kokkuvõte

Aprilli pühendasin suures osas 80ndatele: 20 filmi 30'st, millest 6 olid John Carpenter'i omad, millest omakorda pooli olin kunagi näinud nagu selgus.

9/10 filmid (boldis esmakordsed): E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, The White Stripes Under Great White Northern Lights, Zodiac, Down by Law, Grave of the Fireflies. Kuu halvim film oli Dune, mis oli lihtsalt igav. Samuti 5/10 hindega Escape from L.A. oli vähemalt kohati lõbus.

Hetke kinofilmidest soovitaksin How to Train Your Dragon't vaatama minna. Minu jaoks esimene 3D film, mis tõesti tekitas 3D tunde. Iron Man 2 peaks meeldima üldiselt kõigile, kellele esimene vähegi meeldis. Jätkab enam-vähem sama rada + siin on ju kitsas kostüümis Scarlett Johansson, kelle jalad on tõesti ohtlikud... Mind ei häirinud, et action't oli küllaltki vähe, sest muhedaid nalju oli see-eest topelt. "Get a roof!"

Generation Kill miniseriaali peate kõik vaatama ja punkt. Jolt kirjutas sellest nõnda.

Täiesti eraldi tuleb mainida Stephen Tobolowsky's Birthday Party't (Jolt'i tellitud DVD), milles tuntud karakternäitleja räägib uskumatuid lugusid enda elust. Näiteks üks juhtum, kuidas ta poes sisseoste tegi ja talle ootamatult relv otsaette pandi. Stephen rääkis selle mehega vist tund aega ja lõpuks kutsus enda koju õhtusöögile... kuid ainus toit, mida hull mees sel õhtul sai, oli leib ja vesi. Filmi nö. jätkuks on The Tobolowsky Files podcast, mida ma polegi jõudnud veel täies mahus kuulata.

Kuu huvitavaim olukord oli vast Bride of Re-Animator'ga, mida näidati tasuta Loomelinnaku saalis. Läksin sinna enda teada vaatama esimest osa, kuid näidati hoopis järge. Kui ma poleks hiljem seda kommentaari lugenud, siis oleksingi arvanud, et nägin Re-Animator't, sest jõudsin algustiitrite lõpuks kohale ega näinud pealkirja.

Küsimus... kas see jutt Repo Man'i kohta peab paika? Oli kuidagi lahedalt sürr film, mille kainelt vaatamine on vist kuritegu.

Random fact: aprillis tehtud filmide ja seriaalide screenshot'de kaustas oli mul 1205 pilti, et siin on vaid käputäis... Maikuu esimeseks filmiks saab muidugi Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome ja seejärel Lethal Weapon seeria, siis selgub, kas olen ikka kolmandat filmi näinud. Plaanis on veel mõned 80ndate ja 90ndate filmid. Jolt'i käest napsasin seebid The Corner, Monty Python's Flying Circus ja Wonderfalls.

Mul/meil on üks uus blogi, aga see on veel algfaasis, et pole hetkel mõtet reklaamida. Mai lõpuks on ehk seal juba rohkem lugemist. Igaljuhul rohkem kui siin ma loodan.
